When you purchasse the Green Hanger for your home or business a proportion of your purchase goes directly towards Climate Positive which in turn goes towards offsetting carbon emissions with accredited projects that have a renewable energy component, educate on global warming issues and undertake additional biodiverse forest restoration.

Climate Positive is a not-for-profit which works with the
Green Hanger for real and long-term global warming solutions. Climate Positive works actively within organisations to
provide tools to engage staff on global warming issues, to measure carbon emission footprints and to offset with
high-quality projects.

As their name suggests, Climate Positive partners with best-practice organisations to go beyond being carbon neutral. Climate Positive invests in verified renewable energy projects to offset emissions and additionally restore ecologically diverse, permanently protected high-carbon-yield forests on cleared land, to become Climate Positive.

Climate Positive offsets carbon emissions with accredited emission reduction projects which meet the following criteria:

• Address the cause of global warming
  Building renewable energy to stop the burning of fossil fuels

• Permanent emission reductions — projects which can’t be reversed
  in the future

• Additional — beyond business as usual • Verifiable — independently assessed

• Real — emissions which are being reduced now, and not at some unknown
